  • Alexz Pettengill, Poplin Way Administrator

    Alexz Pettengill, MNA is a long-standing employee of the Colonial Poplin/ Poplin Way Community. She has a vast knowledge of long-term care and a true dedication to Assisted Living Community. As the Administrator of Poplin Way, Alexz uses her experience to provide support to the residents, families, and the staff. She is often found jumping in and helping in all departments of Colonial Poplin/ Poplin Way Community. She is an excellent asset to the facility and a great resource to residents, families, and the Assisted Living Community.

     

  • Kim Piper, RN, NHA, Administrator of Colonial Poplin Nursing

    Kim Piper, RN, NHA was Colonial Poplin’s Director of Nursing Services and has had almost two decades of experience in skilled nursing care, starting as an LNA. Kim is an extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of our Skilled Nursing Facility. She has now transitioned into the roll of Administrator of Colonial Poplin and looks forward to continuing to be hands on in the facility.

  • Renee’ Conroy, DON, Director of Nursing

    Renee comes to Colonial Poplin Nursing Facility as the Director of Nursing with over 20 years of RN experience with a focus on quality of care and life. She has strong, hands-on clinical skills while prioritizing therapeutic and compassionate care. She has an open communication philosophy with the staff, residents and families. Colonial Poplin is very thankful to have her lead our Nursing Department.

  • Desiree’ Schenk, MNA Admissions/ Marketing Director

    Desiree’ Schenk has excelled in many different roles at the facility and we are excited to have her in Admissions/ Marketing roll. Desiree is the direct link between our referral sources and the community. Her detail-oriented work ethic, excellent organizational skills along with positive personality is a great representation of the facility, as, she is often the first face seen and voice heard for most residents and families.

  • Michele Thomas, PTA

    Michelle Thomas PTA is the Director of Rehabilitative Services. Michelle is a long-standing employee of Colonial Poplin in the Management Department and as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She motivates and encourages residents to not only meet but exceed goals. She strives in getting to know each resident individually to tailor therapy programs to specific needs. She and her therapy team are an excellent asset to the facility and often the reason why our residents love being here and coming back when needed. 

  • Chef Lynn Guay

    Lynn is your Food Service Director. Together with her team, she strives to create and serve dishes that not only adhere to all your special nutritional requirements, but also look good and taste great.

  • Aaron Deyermond, Activities Director

    Aaron Deyermond , We are excited to have Aaron on board at Colonial Poplin as our Activities Director. Aaron has been working in long-term care as an LNA and in Activities field for over six years. His upbeat, positive attitude along with creative ideas brings excitement to our residents and staff. You will recognize him in the building by his great laugh and smile that is seen.

  • Betsy Fyfe-Cox, Human Resource Director

    Betsy Fyfe-Cox is our Human Resource Director. She is available for all of our employees, residents, families, and outside services needs. She is often the first face welcoming you at the facility and the cheerful voice helping you over the phone.
